soooo good i come here quite often actually good prices , their wonton soup is like how my grandma makes it back in the days . their peanut butter noodles ain't the best but still not bad. they serve a ton of fry salt goodness too def try ! there is one that looks like a donut and one that's made out of taro so good

Love little fuzhounese shops like this. Fast service but helpful to customers who aren't fuzhounese. Got the standard peanut butter noodles and fuzhounese wonton soup. Added on a traditional oyster cake (seemly no oysters just veggies) and savory donut. The noodles were a little watery, but probably just not properly drained before plating.

This is outstanding food! Highly recommend and won't break the bank! Some employees speak some English too.

Cheap and Delicious. What more can you say? I'm glad that Fuzhouese food is making it's mark on the map as I grew up FJ. I wish the taro and duck noodles came in a bigger bowl as that's how my mother usually serves it. I highly recommend getting the FJ fish balls as they are stuffed with minced meat - make sure to add a little bit of vinegar into the broth to enhance the taste. Also get the oyster cakes, you won't regret it. They're light, crispy, umami and so satisfying. Service is quick. Not much of an ambiance as it's a little hole in the wall place.

Small hole in the wall restaurant, you can easily walk past it if you didn't know it was there. I happened to stumble past it as I was walking by and I saw a lot of teens there, which is a sign that the place is affordable! There's seating inside but you order and pay first before sitting down. It's not a fancy restaurant, it's like one of those places that's cheap and gets the job done. I ordered the peanut noodles (not pictured) and fried dumplings. The peanut noodles were so good! So much better compared to the watered down version from "shu jiao fu zhou" on Grand St. It was really creamy and flavorful and the noodles had just the right texture of springiness without being too soft like how some fujianese places make it. Would highly recommend but don't expect anything fancy or super crazy. It's just simple wheat noodles with a mixed peanut sauce. I was pleasantly surprised by the dumplings, they were made fresh to order. They were pork and chive dumplings, the chive taste wasn't overpowering but there was a really strong meaty taste. They were a little bit on the oily side since it is pan fried but that is expected. I enjoyed it but would not eat too often because the grease would get to me. Overall, classic inexpensive fujianese food that gets the job done. You get what you pay for and the food is delicious. If you grew up in Chinatown, Manhattan the taste of the food here might bring back some nostalgia. This spot is definitely an authentic Fujianese restaurant, the food is good and its not overhyped or over exposed like "shu jiao fu zhou", its a small mom/pop restaurant worth trying at least once. Will be back to try other things!

To start off when I walked in I placed my order and the person at the front was patient and welcoming. The food cost me $8.50 which is a really good price for the portion of food. The food didn't take long to come out and was ready to eat as soon as I got it. The fried pork dumplings were crispy and fresh. Every bite had a burst of flavor. It was my first time trying peanut noodles and it had a subtle peanut taste to it. It was creamy which I liked. Overall it was really good. Just make sure to mix up the gravy when you eat it. I originally heard this place from watching the fung Bros on YouTube and many of the influencers who do videos about Chinatown cheap eats. I had no idea this place existed right next to where my son does martial arts. This is located right next to a fish market. Well I won't win any awards for having nice clean or cute decor, it earns a five stars for being affordable to serve the locals who live in the neighborhood. For 3.50 you can get a plate of fujian peanut noodles, and the quality of the boiled dumplings are actually really good. Plenty of meat to dough ratio. They also don't want or required tip. Cash only.

Classic Chinatown tiny place. Super quick, they read my mind on what I wanted to order, I'm sure of it. I had the yellow noodles in peanut sauce and the fuzhou dumpling soup-- total order was like 8 dollars. Everything was perfectly cooked and I loved it. My Chinese was really bad but they were really nice. I loved watching them prepare a whole tray of dumplings behind the counter. Please come here we need places like these to stay around.
